1. What has been your biggest pleasant surprise of the last three months?
Public Enemies. It looked interesting enough, and Johnny Depp certainly sweetened the pot, but it was 100x better than I thought it was going to be!

Rudest as in worst? I don't know. There hasn't been any bad surprises recently.

3. What are you most looking forward to between now and New Year's?
Life!

4. What are you dreading most between now and New Year's?
No life. Ahhh!

5. If, at this moment, you could only watch television between now and December 31, or you could only see movies between now and December 31, which would you choose if you knew you couldn't go back later and catch up on what you missed?
Television because I could see the movies on DVD or on TV, and there is enough on television to keep me occupied until then.

Sherlock Holmes.

7. What are you currently trying to like and finding it difficult to like?
Going to bed early and waking up early.

Superheros. They're made for boys and geeky adult men, but I love it.

Just because I don't like something doesn't mean everyone else doesn't like it, so I wouldn't get rid of anything.

My first date was Andrew... I believe it was a Halloween dance, but I went with friends and met him there... if that doesn't count, we went to the drive-in and saw Kung-Fu Panda (I think). LOL We're not together any more...

2. Do you still talk to your FIRST love?
I have really, really liked people, but since I don't know what to expect of love, I don't know, so I don't know if I still talk to my first 'love'. I still talk to the people I used to really, really like or still really, really like. P.S. I am trying to answer these HONESTLY, Dad and Cracked Like An Egg, so you better not bug me!!!!!!!!!

3. What was your FIRST alcoholic drink?
Never drank before.

4. What was your FIRST job?
Never had a real job, unless you count chores or working outside.

5. What was your FIRST car?
Can't drive.

6. Where did you go on your FIRST ride on an airplane?
Florida!

7. Who was your FIRST best friend & do you still talk?
My first best friend, if family doesn't count, I met in preschool and we do still talk.

8. Whose wedding did you attend the FIRST time?
If you count while your mum is pregnant with you, my mum and dad's. If you don't, then my Uncle Jeff and Aunt Missy's wedding when I was a one-year-old flowergirl. Still have the basket full of dead rose petals and a little white flowergirl dress.

9. Tell us about your FIRST roommate.
Apparently my first roommate was technically my brother.

10. If you had one wish, what would it be (other than more wishes)?
The ability to control time and teleport. I have often thought about this question... I wouldn't screw anything up in time, just poke around. Teleportation would be sweet, I could freeze time and teleport to Johnny Depp! Telekinesis would be awesome, too. I would wish I had every single superpower, and nothing would go wrong with my superpowers (you know how these wishes always backfire somehow)!

11. What is something you would learn if you had the chance?
I would learn how to make people happy. Happier people makes a happy world.

12. Did you marry the FIRST person you were in love with?
Too young to be married.

13. What were the first lessons you ever took and why?
Gymnastics because I loved jumping around and stuff like that. I rocked the catbox.

14. What is the first thing you do when you get home?
Take off my shoes and sit down somewhere. Or pee. Whichever.

What food makes you sick? Yuck. Tomatoes.

What is a food habit that you can't stand? I really don't have problems with food habits... everyone has their own little quirks.

What food habit did your sister/brother used to have growing up that you couldn't stand? I can't think of any, really. My siblings eat like normal people. Well, sometimes my older brother puts weird stuff on weird food, but to each their own. He has a different taste than I do. XD

What food cracks you up? I don't think any food has ever made me laugh... unless it's, like, made into something funny, like a statue of something funny or something. Ahh my grammar is so pathetic.

What vegetable couldn't you live without? Yuck I can't think of any veggies I like right now.

Food gadgets you remember as a child? I know they still have them, but I remember the can-opener most for some reason.

Food that was hidden, then discovered on the top shelf of your room? You want the list?

Without mentioning robots, how do you think cooking in the future will be better? I agree with Cal - "Star Trek brand replicators that will let you eat anything with all the taste and nutrition but none of the calories."

What is an annoying thing that bothers you about women and food? Not answering that.

Food you once projectile vomited after being wasted? I've never been wasted, I'm 13! LOL XD

From Cal - What would be your last meal? Pierogies, Shells and Velveeta cheese, hmm... Two KFC drumsticks, smile fries, cookie dough, crispy bacon, a chicken strip basket from Dairy Queen, three bisquits, a basket of rolls and butter, a few Olive Garden breadsticks, and a southern chicken sandwich with mayo (from Mickey D's), then I would probably be full. I'd put whipped cream on everything, though, and dessert would be fat-free vanilla frozen yogurt (like the kind at this buffet place I like) with whipped cream, of course, with chocolate sauce, rainbow sprinkles and white chocolate chips. Oh, and a Reeses Whipps bar. I would have hot chocolate with whipped cream, a glass of water, and a dozen bottles of a dozen different sodas I like, and a glass of normal milk, chocolate milk, and strawberry milk. Plus, all my family and friends would be there with me. Oh, if it wasn't my last meal, that would be so AWESOME! I'm sure there is other stuff I'd like, but I can't think of it right now. Oh, now I'm hungry. XD

It's Okay, Canada!

After I read Cal's post on America and it's flag being taken over by the octopus (see the photo I snatched from his blog... Thanks, Cal!), I noticed at the end that he said nobody ever tried to alter the Canadian flag because they know they would be beaten down with snow shovels and hockey sticks. Well, no more! I have constructed (with the help of a few tentacled pals) a Canadian flag. Cal, I hope you will protect me from the wrath of the Canadians... Here is the American flag first -

Slow Down, Cal!

I came back from a vacation - a week-long vacation, just a week - to find my Google Reader filled to the BRIM with stuff. Of course, Cal helped out a lot. I know, I am blogging WAY to much about Cal... I'm weird. BUT NONETHELESS I had 70 blogs to read from Cal! 70!!!!! I have only posted 73 (now this is the 74th) on this blog, and he had 70!!!!!!!!! LOL Nice job, Cal. Ice Bear approves.

Stain Glass Octopus

Dang it, Cal, everywhere I go I see an octopus and I think of YOU!!!! You and your darn Tentacle Wars. XD! I was at a restaurant called Bosn's Landing where all the windows have a stain glass sea creature, and I saw the octopus. Yes, I did, and I thought of you, and then I thought, "I must have a picture of it to post." I got up and walked over to my dad on the other side of the table (the window was in a different part of the restaurant and I couldn't get the photo from where I was sitting) and asked if I could go take a picture of a window. He knows that all the windows are sea-creature-themed, and he said to me, "It's an octopus, isn't it?" I said, "Yeah, how did you know?" He said, "I just do." Well, I walked over to it, and there was an old couple beneath the window (the window is a normal window with a stain glass thing at the top), so I asked if I could take a picture. They looked at me like I was weird, but they said sure and let me take the picture. It's small and blurry, because I took it on my phone, but I counted the tentacles and there are eight of them. I also ate a piece of my sister-in-law's calamari. I know it's a squid, so it's not the same, but it's a tentacled creature, so I felt the need to tell you. XD

I was watching Twilight, and there is a scene where Edward is saying what a few people in the room are thinking. He points at four different people, and says, 'Money... Sex... Money... Sex...' and here is where YOU come in, Cal. He points at a guy sitting at a table and says, 'Cat?'. LOL and the funniest part is the guy looks right at the camera and sighs. It's HILARIOUS, and I SO thought of you!

I also thought of you when I saw a Froot Loops commerical with a Froot Octopus. XD

• Thanks for the return shout out. I gave you the award because I totally enjoy the way that you write. I have taught lots of English to lots of kids and the ones that are any good at expressing themselves at your age are rarer than a monkey riding unicorn. Doing your blog will only make you a better writer. Then will come the day when your screenplay gets made into a hit movie and you will thank your friend Calvin during your Oscar acceptance speech. Then will come fame and riches and I will get to live in your pool house with your father because we will need 24 hour care by that time.

I am always amazed at how good your writing is at your age - you have a gift for capturing the topic and keeping the reader interested. We know you to well.") and I go, "Oh, you bandarshles! It's in CANADA, BABY!" So, yeah. Beautiful views, nice people, and hey, it's Canada, eh?!

Perth, Western Australia

Hometown of Heath Andrew Ledger, one of my gods, and in Australia (Oh yeah)! I've always wanted to go somewhere in Australia so why not go for the city feel and a place I wanted to visit anyways? Boom chicka boom boom!

Dublin, Ireland

I've always wanted to go to Ireland - The people, the feel, the culture and the castles! Plus, my heritage is sorta Irish. Mostly French, but still. I Have An Active Imagination

I totally have problems with the highlighted part... after you read that, then read what I wrote beneath it, you will understand why.
Yes, I watch 'Dancing With The Stars'. I tried to avoid being charmed by the contestants but with the final five couples I am totally into cheering and critiquing my favourites like I was raised in the ballroom. In truth, @#^!*&$, I was raised by wolves in the wilds of northern Quebec but we still danced. We danced across the icy tundra like our lives depended on it. With weeks to go I will predict that Lil Kim will win but Shawn Johnson SHOULD win cause she is cute and spunky and spunky and cute. I wish someone would love me because secretely I would kill to learn how to dance like that. But I would kill right now for a meatball sub so what does that say? Ty Murray is great because he is so far out of his element but he has no chance of winning. He already married Jewel so he has nothing to bitch about. And Melissa, the sentimental favourite - I am loving how she charmed everyone since her post bachelor embarrassment. Gilles of course is the dark horse and never underestimate his greasy latino charm.Goes to show what I know. L'il Kim got eliminated tonight.

Now, when I read the red part, I can just picture Cal and a bunch of wolves doing that disco dance thing (hand to waist, back to sky... get it?) on an iced-over lake. Makes me head hurt. Makes me afraid of Cal.

I do not think I have ever been more afraid of Canadians.

Trust me...this is the LAST thing you want to see. Not since the Vikings will a people come storming out of the frozen tundra to bring their terrible vengeance to the world. That is the Niquil talking or is it? I love the way they use the term 'fiesty'. Its like a more polite way to express our desire to kick some ass. Its SO Canadian a term.I think they really don't mean what they think they mean with this poster.

"A significant majority of Canadians are willing to risk friction with other nations in pursuit of this country's interests, according to a new survey that suggests Canada has "grown feistier" about its role in the world during this decade. The poll of 1,600 Canadians, commissioned by the Montreal-based Association for Canadian Studies, found 67 per cent of respondents agreed with the statement: "Canada should follow its own interests even if it leads to conflict with other nations. "This contrasts with 49 per cent in 2003 who agreed with this view," notes the study of Canadian attitudes towards the country's place on the global stage, prepared by ACS executive director Jack Jedwab. The findings indicate Canadians have "grown feistier when it comes to defending their interests on the international front," the study states. The survey also showed 58 per cent of respondents believe Canada has gained more sway in international affairs in recent years. "In this decade, Canadians refused the invitation of the U.S. to send troops to Iraq," the study notes. "More recently they have warned Russia not to push their claims on Arctic sovereignty. The majority of Canadians think that their influence in world affairs has grown over the past few years." At the same time, nearly half of those surveyed — 47 per cent — expressed concern that international organizations "take too much power from Canada" on the world stage. According to a 2003 survey cited in the ACS study, only 27 per cent of Canadians felt that way six years ago. The latest survey, conducted in March by Leger Marketing, has a margin of error of 3.9 percentage points, 19 times out of 20. Jedwab says evidence that Canadians believe the country's "prestige has grown" is emerging just as Canada approaches an optimistic new era in its relationship with the U.S. under President Barack Obama, who is due to announce a new ambassador to Ottawa. "This could be a very long honeymoon period," Jedwab said in an interview. "A lot of what Obama says rings very nicely with Canadian views on a whole set of issues." But pointing to a recent Gallup poll in the U.S., Jedwab notes that while Canada is widely seen as that country's best friend, it actually trails Britain as the U.S.'s "most valuable ally" in the minds of many Americans. The late February poll of 1,023 U.S. residents found 36 per cent of respondents named Britain as best ally, compared with 29 per cent for Canada. Japan (12 per cent), Israel (10 per cent) and Germany (five per cent) garnered a significant number of responses, as well. The Gallup poll also illuminated differences of opinions between Republicans and Democrats in terms of which country is the U.S.'s best ally. While 35 per cent of Democrats ranked Canada ahead of Britain (32 per cent), Republicans strongly preferred Britain (41 per cent) over Canada (26 per cent). And while Britain was named top ally in the eastern, western and southern regions of the U.S., 39 per cent of respondents in the Midwest chose Canada over Britain (31 per cent). "Going forward, we're in a feel-good mood with the United States," said Jedwab. "We still feel pretty good about ourselves internationally. But that may change, depending on where Obama sees U.S. interests heading, and who he thinks its most valuable allies are."

Much thanks to follower Nicole for creating not only this wicked cool image of our beloved Ice Bear but for actually developing the 'Ice Bear Movie Review System.' Its so perfect I wonder why I never thought of it first. Ice Bear is the perfect mascot for judgement. Sure her judgement is often harsh and insensitive but that comes from years in the tough arctic tundra struggling for survival. Any movie or TV show that can pass the rigorous standards of Ice Bear is worthy of its 'one or two paws up' rating. I know I did not invent 'Ice Bear Judges You' but I did popularize it and start the phenomenon because only I had the genius to recognize it potential. The person who created the comic strip where I found the phrase should be happy. I am doing more for Ice Bear than he ever did. There is gonna be SUCH a huge lawsuit isn't there? Well bring it #%!*@ or do you fear the legal judgement of Ice Bear?
